The European Town opened on May 9 in Chișinău, where hundreds gathered to celebrate Europe Day with Moldovan officials, EU diplomats, and representatives. More than 20 ambassadors joined Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu and Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu on stage as the ceremony began with the national anthems of Moldova and the EU.
